Pogba was also linked with a move to Man City, a return to Man United and with a move to Barcelona despite their transfer ban.
But according to French paper L’Equipe Pogba rejected the move to Stamford Bridge.
And yesterday the Juve general director Giuseppe Marotta said Pogba would cost even more next summer.
“We decided to keep Pogba despite significant offers from foreign clubs. In future, he will be worth over €100 million,” he said.
“I’ve noticed how the Premier League has become richer, and we’ve seen clubs buying players for what would have been crazy prices until recently, but are very normal today.
“If Pogba continues his performance of last season, I think next year, €100 million will not suffice.”

The supposed Barcelona pre-agreement, handshake deal, promises-promises-never-had-a-doubt or whatever it may be has apparently set Pogba's annual salary at £8.8m.  As we mentioned when talking about our rejected offer, that's a net amount: a net amount of just under £170k p/w.  In England however, wages get reported in gross figures (i.e. before tax), which would mean a weekly wage of £318k for the midfielder.  By contrast, to the best of our knowledge, we pay Eden Hazard and Oscar a combined £300k per week.  The total financial commitment to Pogba, as the tabloids have helpfully summed it up, would be £82m.  And that's before we consider that a transfer fee approaching a similar amount would have to be paid to Juventus in the first place.  And here we thought the £50m (fee) + £50m (wages) committed to Fernando Torres was a lot!
Then again, "any cost."  Any cost!  Any cost.  Draw your knees up.  Lie down.  Maybe not in that order.  Curl up in the fetal position.  Any cost.  Rock gently back and forth.  Please please please.

Chelsea have suffered two defeats from their opening four games. They lost just three times all of last season.
Asked if his under-performing players were resting on their laurels, Mourinho said: "If that is the question, it is very sad. If that is the point, it is very, very sad. If this is real, it is very sad. Because, for myself, I feel the opposite.
"When I win, I want to win again, I want to win more. I feel fantastic motivation for more. If you win it once and the next you are not on fire, not ready for at least to fight for more, that is sad. My medal is at home. In a drawer."
There is still time, of course, to turn Chelsea around. But their grip on their title is already weakening and we are still in August.
Only Blackburn back in 1995 have made a worst start to a season in the wake of being crowned champions. This defeat leaves them eight points behind leaders Manchester City.
The most concerning aspect here was that nobody could say Palace did not deserve their first win at Stamford Bridge since 1982.
Alan Pardew knew just where to exploit Chelsea as man-of-the-match Bacary Sako fired Palace ahead midway through the second half.
Substitute Radamel Falaco headed Chelsea level and Mourinho cut short the celebrations as he demanded his players head back to the centre circle to restart play.
He needn't have bothered as within two minutes Joel Ward headed home after good work from the roaming Sako. Not the celebration Mourinho would have envisaged on his 100th league home game in charge.
